First walk, crazy hydrangeas
My mommy and daddy, especially my mommy, have been talking up this place called Nantucket ever since I can remember. The trip over was long, but I am a good traveler. I loved everything except the crib at the airport Hilton. I am so excited to finally be here. I think I'm gonna like it!

sharing clothes with mommy and uncle jonah
it's going to be a while before my mommy and i are sharing clothes, at least the ones that fit her now anyway, but both my mommy and my uncle jonah wore this outfit when they were my size. so despite it being 80 degrees outside, i let my parents put it on and take a picture. i think it wear it well.

i had so much fun watching the usa world cup match this morning with mommy and daddy. i was so worked up in the second half daddy put my rally cap on, and it worked! the US scored in the 91st minute! GOOOAAAL!

solid on the solids
hey people, why did you wait so long to give me something i can eat with a spoon?? you'd never know today was my first day on solid foods (if you don't count the paper bag from starbucks, the blanket fuzz and envelope). thanks to josefina for showing me and my mommy how to use a spoon. i can't wait till i get to do this three times a day with lots of different foods!

happy birthday mommy
today is mommy's birthday so i coordinated with grammy, papa and great grandma to have a picnic at my favorite park so i could swing on the swings and they could eat cupcakes. it was super fun. i love parties. (daddy is not pictured cause we were whooping it up during office hours, so he and mommy went out to a celebratory dinner after i went to bed.)
6 months young
i turned 6 months old on tuesday, the 16th. i had my drs appointment yesterday and weighed in at 18lbs 7oz (90th %ile), measured 25 inches (45%ile) and my head was 43cm around (50 %ile). the doctor noted in my chart that i was alert, social and chubby. i plan to keep the first to qualities and ditch the third as soon as i figure out how to crawl and walk. my mommy is late to post, but this was taken on my 6mo birthday. it's me, getting it done, in my office.

the ordinary is really extraordinary
you see, the extraordinary thing about this photo, is that only moments before, i was just beyond arms reach of that round object in the lower right quadrant. i was determined to get it but the more i focused on getting it, the farther away it got. but hey, at least i'm moving. you gotta start somewhere!

i am... a very stylish girl
just like all fashionista's, i had a wardrobe change mid-party. i went for my kimono (a gift from my stylish uncle brett), after the ceremony.

Boy did I have a fun weekend. I got to meet lots of family and friends. On Sunday my parents had a Jewish Naming ceremony for me and I had the BEST time. I even got to taste wine! More pics below...
